The new name of the incoming freshman class at Asbury is Steadfast. Good Lord. Another name incapable of being made singular. “Hello, my name is Jane Foo. I’m a Steadfast.” This follows on the heels of several other similar class names: Commissioned, Agape. But the best was still Redeemed. “Hello. I’m a Redeemed.” I propose that the class of 2008 be named the God class.
“Hello. My name is Joseph. I am a God.”

Just stumbled across this little bit of hilarity.
I suppose I should be offended . . . seeing as how I was part of the ‘Redeemed’ class . . . but I’m not . . . and I’m still chuckling.

Actually, the Steadfast class quickly became the Wedfast class, as they pretty much couldn’t go until their junior year without getting engaged. Asbury College: the perfect destination for women getting their M.R.S degrees.
I was a Vessel, probably on the list of the Top 5 Most Idiotic Asbury Class Names.
