Readers of Tom Clancy (like Father D.) will know that a ragged financial background means, “No top-secret soup for you!” Well, I’ve been praying that God’s will would be done, and that he would close doors that were not meant to be open. C’est la vie.
I have also enabled comments. It’s an experiment. We’ll see how it works.

Fair? Which: Me not getting to be an interpreter? Or you being able to comment?

Of course, I guess I should explain. I needed to get a top-secret clearance to be an interpreter in the Navy. I passed the DLAB (145 out of 155 — I was simply blown away by that score), but my financial background prevents me from getting the clearance. I should do an article about that whole deal anyway.

my (our–every other reader of the page) ability to now comment. while i think you have some great insights, i think it’s sometimes more helpful to be able to discuss issues in a forum. of course, it’s _your_ webpage, so in the end it’s really up to you to decide what’s “fair” here.
