“The more I study the history of the Orthodox Church in this country, the more I am convinced that our work here is God's work; that God himself is helping us; that when it seems as though everything we do is ready to fail, …on the contrary, it not only does not die, but grows in new strength and brilliance.” [said just before leaving the United States for Russia]

After a discussion with a professor at my alma mater, I want to point out some other resources available on the subject of creation. Reasons to Believe has a very sane, reasonable approach to discussing issues surrounding creation, unlike the previously mentioned Answers in Genesis or the like-minded Institute for Creation Research.

Although I have tended to think that Philip Johnson is misguided, falling as he does into the non-scientist–critiquing–science category, William Dembski gives me reason to pause. His Intelligent Design thesis is based — here’s a new one — on research in his own field, which in this case is mathematics. He also mentions the importance of distinquishing between science and theology/philosophy, though he seems a little confused on the place of naturalism in scientific inquiry.
